Q: We are very busy, what times are your product specialists available to come and give us a price quote?
A: We have very flexible product specialists who are available mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends to accommodate any busy schedule.
Q: How long are your price quotes good for?
A: At Brookstone Windows and Doors our free, no obligation retail price quotes are guaranteed for one full year.
Q: What kind of windows and doors does your company offer?
A: We offer many different colours, styles and options for all of our vinyl windows and a wide selection of options for our fiberglass and steel doors. All of our window and door products meet the highest standards for performance and durability and are all CSA certified and Energy Star Qualified.
Q: What kind of warranty does Brookstone Windows and Doors provide?
A: We provide a lifetime warranty on all of our windows and doors. Your product specialist will be able to provide you with more information and answer any other additional questions you may have about our warranty at the time of your appointment.
Q: During the installation process, how will your installers protect my home?
A: The installers will carefully watch where they step and what footwear they have on when walking through your home. In addition, the installers always place drop cloths around openings to ensure that excess debris and materials don’t land on floors, furniture or surrounding areas. The installers all wear safety tool belts to hold their tools properly and prevent potential tools dropping on the floor.
Q: Do I need to be present for the installation process?
A: Whether it is the home owner, a family member or a friend, we do require having someone home during the installation. This will ensure that the order is installed in the order of preference and should the installers have any questions regarding the job finishing someone is there to help.
Q: Who do I call if I experience any issues with my Windows or Doors?
A: Our service team is always ready to help solve any issues you may be experiencing with your windows or doors. Just call the office and they can schedule an appointment for you with one of our service professionals. We have a dedicated team of service professionals and our service department is local and ready to serve you.
Q: Do you have a showroom where I can see more products in person?
A: Absolutely we do! Our wonderful showroom is located at 3423 Walker Rd, Windsor, ON, N8W 3S2. We would love to have you come in and check our displays and we can answer any additional questions you may have.
Q: What is the lead time for installation?
A: This varies from job to job and has been severely impacted by supply chain issues relating to COVID. At this time projects are taking between 5 – 6 months from the time the contract is signed. The supply chain is getting better, and we hope to see this timeline shorten.
Q: Do you do storm/screen doors?
A: We do not sell or install storm or screen doors.
Q: Do you offer repairs?
A: We do repairs on our own windows and doors but not for anyone else.
Q: Do you offer supply only?
A: Supply only means that we would provide the windows and doors and the customer would then install himself/herself or pay someone else to do the install. Our business model is supply and install. This ensures the highest level of quality control and allows us to offer our all-in, non-prorated warranty for as long as you own your home – this includes parts and labour.
Q: Which areas are you currently servicing?
A: We service Windsor, Chatham, London, Brantford, KW, Hamilton and all surrounding communities.
